My “secret project” is slowly taking form
“Referral”, “Sign up” and “Verification” is 100% in place and “Login” is 50% complete.
Once “Login” is finished it’s time to implement the “Lost password” feature.
After that it’s the member details section and another “data” section with accompanying database structures.
Only then will it be time for the actual meat of the site.
I’ve implemented the core feature of the site as raw, proof of concept, code. So it’s functional, but not integrated into the other components of the site yet, it’s not tested or fault resistant but at least it’s working as planned.
The cool thing about all these additional non-core components of the site is that they can form the basis of any new site I deside to create. So even if I would rather work on more “interesting” parts of the project I know how important it is to make the foundation as solid, modular, expandable and documented as possible.
