All we hear is Radio ga ga - Radio goo Google - Radio ga ga

January 18th, 2006

According to Washington Post: Google Buys Company To Expand Into Radio, Google is buying dMarc Broadcasting Inc for $102 million in cash.

It will be very interesting to see if we will begin to experience online audio ads targeted the same way Google AdSense is targeting text ads on content pages.

Personally I wouldn’t want to be forced to listen to audio ads while browsing the internet, so I hope that if Google decides to deliver audio ads online they will make it only to those who have the Google toolbar installed - and only if they specifically set the option to receive audio ads.

Oh, btw - Google toolbar is available for Firefox as well as Microsoft Internet Explorer.
