…you get a spam complaint from a double opt-in list
…closely followed by an unsubscription…
I mean, if all you’re interested in is my free ebook, and you simply can’t stand that I send you two followup emails to hear if you had any problems downloading the book, then have the cuortesy to unsubscribe the proper way.
…and if you really want to add some substance to the matter, then leave a comment when you unsubscribe telling me why you’re unsubscribing.
Seriously, I think that AOL, Hotmail, Earthlink, Outblaze, Road Runner and Excite.com have serious credibility problems when they allow their customers to put the business lives of other people at stake by providing a simple button to report spam.

Here’s (yet another) list building website from Gary & Jennifer Ambrose, and Donald Rowell.
Very similar to The List Machine - and why wouldn’t they want to reuse their programming efforts to start an additional site rather than “just” add the new features to the old system.

The TLM contest has ended with Dennis Heikkinen as the first one to reach 300 personal referrals.
I finished #21 with 19 personal referrals.
Far from being in the top 10, but the extra effort was enough to move from Jack level to Queen level and enable me to email 325 additional members each week.
