Don’t you just love it when…
...you get a spam complaint from a double opt-in list 
...closely followed by an unsubscription...
I mean, if all you're interested in is my free ebook, and you simply can't stand that I send you two followup emails to hear if you had any problems downloading the book, then have the cuortesy to unsubscribe the proper way.
...and if you really want to add some substance to the matter, then leave a comment when you unsubscribe telling me why you're unsubscribing.
Seriously, I think that AOL, Hotmail, Earthlink, Outblaze, Road Runner and Excite.com have serious credibility problems when they allow their customers to put the business lives of other people at stake by providing a simple button to report spam.

Very similar to The List Machine - and why wouldn't they want to reuse their programming efforts to start an additional site rather than "just" add the new features to the old system.
