Google Files Click Fraud Complaint

ABAKUS SEM SEO Blog, CNET News, Xbiz, insideGoogle and Search Engine Watch Blog all reported on "Google Inc Vs Auction Expert International L.L.C., Et Al - 1-04-CV-030560"

Auction Expert International alledgedly started their site and signed up for Google AdSense with the sole purpose of ClickFrauding.

ClickFrauding is a serious threat to both advertisers and publishers.

I can only imagine how ClickFrauding can become the next online Gordic Knot just as SPAM/Anti-SPAM is today.

More ClickFrauding means stricter filters.

And stricter filters means more false positives where innocent website owners get accused of fraud.

And more ClickFrauding will also result in fewer website owners being allowed into the systems in the first place.

One of the great things about Google AdSense is that you don't have to have massive amounts of traffic to enter the system - as long as you have content (even niche content) you can get accepted. This "easy" access might dissapear leaving all the "small" websites out of the Google AdSense income stream.
