What is Frank Kern up to?
Hi,
I hope you enjoyed the article about pruning your initial goal list.
You know, if there is anything that is unclear or you just want to throw me a comment or two about Growth Focus, then drop me a note at feedback@growth-focus.com
But actually I wanted to tell you – or rather warn you – that I’ll be sending you a barrage of emails about Frank Kern’s Underachiever Mastery system from now and until January 30 when it launches.
So if you find niche marketing intriguing then you’ll want to pay attention to the emails I’ll be sending you.
If you have no interest in niche marketing what-so-ever, then just ignore those emails. They will stop right after January 30 – and you’ll still be getting the regular more meaty newsletters issues.
Now who is this Frank Kern character? – and why do I expect his Underachiever system to really make it possible for anybody to make a significant living online (as long as they stay away from marketing internet marketing products).
I think that Franks started way back in August 2001 with Instant Internet Empires, but made the mistake of giving away (too many) reprint rights which basically flooded the internet with his course.
And then the FTC sued him. I’m not quite sure over what, but when you’re in the “this is how to make money†market then you’re a real Fed-magnet.
Maybe it had something to do with earning disclaimers, because Frank has the biggest earnings disclaimer I have ever seen
Anyway, Frank learned that teaching people how to be successful at internet marketing and making money is very demanding and customer intensive task.
So he began looking for new ways to make a living, and if memory serves me right, then he actually started taking some sort of real estate classes.
But then he thought: Why not give this whole internet thing one more chance – but not in the internet marketing business.
So he had somebody write him a book – for less than $500 - about how to make parrots talk.
That book brings in $1800/mo – or more than $20,000 per year.
And that’s without any joint ventures, affiliate programs or huge mailing lists.
Now, $20,000 is nothing to ecstatic about, but after that, Frank has created ten or eleven additional sites.
If all his sites are doing just as fine and he has eleven of them, then he’s making:
$1800/mo * 12(months) * 11(sites) = $237,600 per year – in passive income
Now, I believe that Frank has a goal of creating 50 of those websites and make a million per year in passive income because as he puts it: “If you’re going to dream then you might as well dream big.â€
You and I both know that making a million per year isn’t a real goal – it’s just an enabler. And Frank the “lazy bastard†would much rather play tennis or spend time with his daughter than work – so that’s his motivation.
So how is Frank promoting this site?
Well, using PPC (mainly Google AdWords) at around $10/day.
Nothing fancy here – just a simple AdWords campaign.
So this is absolutely doable, and I truly believe that Frank’s system will be worth its weight in gold.
So if you also believe that you might be able to learn a thing or two from this guy (and Ed Dale), then I urge you to get on their priority alert list right away.
http://growth-focus.com/um1 will take you straight to a page where you can leave your name and email address - and be put on the list.

You wanna know what went down in the Frank Kern/FTC Bust five years ago? Click on my name. “To achieve the promised $115,000 in earnings, consumers would each have to sell the product to 2400 additional consumers, who would each need to sell to 2400 additional consumers to achieve the same earnings…By the third generation of the scheme , participants would need to make more than 13.8 Billion sales – more than twice the Earth’s population, for each of them to achieve the advertisied earnings.”
