Who is Franklin Locator
Some time ago I had my first case of porn comment spam, but I quickly closed that hole with a WordPress CAPTCHA from Gudlyf’s World.
Yesterday while going through my serverlogs I noticed an unfamiliar User Agent called "Franklin Locator 1.8"
"Franklin Locator" apparently is a spambot 
In just 42 seconds this little critter managed to fetch 26 pages looking to snatch up in-the-open email addresses
And it didn't even touch robots.txt, so disallowing it there would be futile.
I think there is help to be found in Stopping Spambots: A Spambot Trap - by Neil Gunton, but I haven't had the time to look any further into it.
